About the Role

Homedeal is seeking a talented Product Designer with a strong focus on UX to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, customer-centric solutions that delight our users. In this all-encompassing role, you will be responsible for every stage of the design process in the project you will be working on, from ideation to implementation. Your positive attitude, resilience, and mastery in design thinking will contribute to our mission of transforming the way people interact with our platform.

We Ask You To

• Conduct User Research: Understand user needs and pain points through comprehensive user research methods, as well as to validate ideas and iterate on designs based on user feedback through user testing 
• Develop Designs: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new product features that align with user requirements.
• Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Maintain Design Systems: Create and uphold design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Autonomy: Manage projects and tasks with minimal supervision, making informed decisions within the scope of responsibilities. Anticipates potential issues and addresses them proactively.
• Impact: Contribute significantly to the successful completion of major projects or lead smaller projects. Identifies and suggests improvements to existing processes and workflows.
  
  

This is You

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience: Relevant experience in digital product design with an emphasis on UX, proven with a strong portfolio.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe, Miro, or similar apps; and advanced skills in core design concepts as: Responsive and adaptive design, prototyping, Design-thinking and information architecture.
• Research Skills: You can independently organize user research activities to validate and gather insights. Proficient with different research methods, such as feedback collection, interviews, and usability testing
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English. You are a good storyteller. 
• Attitude: Positive and collaborative attitude with resilience at work.
• Shape-up framework knowledge and marketplace experience is a plus
• Additional Language: Fluency in Dutch language is needed as the role will handle predominantly the Dutch markets.
